Announcement - Cancelation of Annual Conference

Dear Members,

The Association of Electromyography Technologists (AETC) executive board would like to announce that they have decided to postpone the return to an in-person educational conference planned for June 27th-June 29th, 2022. The AETC made a tough decision due to the minimal interest in attending in person with low registration numbers and several factors also at play beyond our control. The AETC is working to continue to offer online education sessions virtually through our speaker series until the next expected CNSF Congress in June 2023 in Banff, AB. To those who have already registered for the 2022 AETC Continuing Education Seminars, you will receive full reimbursement of the registration fees. Our Secretary-Treasurer is working diligently to ensure this occurs before the week's end. Don't hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. As a result, the 2022 AETC Annual General Meeting will be a virtual meeting held on June 29th, 2022, at 7 pm EST, through zoom. Please stay tuned for more information regarding the Annual General Meeting and instructions to attend virtually.

The BRETC exams will move forward as planned. We want to continue to support exam candidates however we can, so at this time, we plan to go ahead with a virtual workshop. We will contact exam candidates with details on the date and time via email shortly.

I hope to see you at our 2022 Annual General Meeting.
